Mission

Established in 1995, the Plateau Scottish Country Dancers are a gathering of people interested in promoting the cultural and social aspects of Scottish country dancing.

Information

Join us each Monday to learn the traditional group dances of Scotland. We meet from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Danish Hall in Enumclaw, Washington. Members range in age from teens to spry retirees.

The only requirements for membership are an interest in the social dances of Scotland and a comfortable, soft-soled pair of shoes. No prior experience is needed and a partner is not necessary.

The group is currently led by Jim and Pat McDonald.

Cost for an evening of dance is $3.00 per person to cover the rental of the hall.

History and News

The Plateau Scottish Country Dancers are regular performers at the Seattle Highland Games held here in Enumclaw. We have also performed at the Tacoma Highland Games, at several Robert Burns celebrations, local festivals and retirement homes.
